Good quality photography should evoke the deliciousness of your produce and have viewers salivating at the very sight of it. It’s also a great way to tell a story and demonstrate the value of your product.

Bite Network features with a full page in the Lake District Life and Lancashire Life Magazine each month (commencing June 2017). This allows Bite Network members to appear in front of almost 30,000 of the most affluent readers across the region, as well as the potential to reach an additional 53,000 unique visitors to the Lancashire Life website each month – and all at member exclusive discounted rates!!

Championing a Sustainable Food System

At Bite Network, we strongly believe in helping to promote a more sustainable food system. The earth’s resources are under severe and unsustainable pressure, and the current industrialised food production processes are no good for it or for us!

– Environmental Impact – Food Waste – Land Grabbing & Deforestation –

– Corporate Irresponsibility – Food Security and Increased Demand –

– Chemical Fertilisers – GMO – Loss of Biodiversity –

These are just some of the many challenges our current food system faces and that Slow Food is seeking to address. The Bite Network will aim to help build support for Slow Food and raise awareness of its education and campaign programmes, as well as encouraging Bite Network members and supporters to do the same.

In support of the Bite Network members who have adopted the Slow Food ethos of good, clean and fair, we work closely with the regional Slow Food groups to provide and promote a ‘Slow Food in the North West Approved’ scheme. This allows you to display exclusive accreditation on your premises and website, and gets you on our specially created ‘Snail Trail’ – a regional map of Slow Food supporting businesses!

Slow Food is a global, grassroots movement, with thousands of members around the world, that links the pleasure of food with a commitment to community and the environment. Slow Food is a not-for-profit organisation.

Slow Food membership starts at  just £3 per month – if you’d like to support their work, why not join today!
